Giveaway- Wet Ones Antibacterial Wipes

Being a nursing student, proper hand-washing was one of the first things I learned coming into nursing school. Did you know hand-washing is the #1 way to prevent the spread of infection? You can wear gloves, cover your nose and mouth and take your Vitamin C but hand washing is still the number way to prevent the spread of illness.

I recently received 2 free canisters of Wet Ones antibacterial hand and face wipes that are just great for moms who have toddlers. Only God knows what kinds of germs our little babies carry around on their fingertips. From wiping their snotty noses, to playing with the trashcan, to playing with the potty... they get into everything. And having an easy way to clean those little hands frequently is a blessing!

The cool thing about these Wet Ones canisters is that fit easily into your cup holder so you can take them on the go and they won't dry out your skin like other alcohol-based sanitizers. The best part- they kill 99.99% of germs. It's one little thing you can do to prevent your little one from getting sick, especially this flu season.

What's in it for you?

The company has offered to send a free container of Wet Ones antibacterial wipes to 3 of my readers. So that means 3 of you will win!

To enter this giveaway simply leave a comment and leave me with someway to contact you. The drawing will be next Wednesday and I will announce the winners then! Good luck!

  1. omigosh I LOVE wetones!! I buy the little individual packets (they sell them in a box) and carry them in Lucy's diaper bag so I can wash off her hands and tables and such when we go out to eat. I've thought about getting some to keep in the car, too. With it being flu season and SO many cases of it here in Texas, I'm a little paranoid.

You can message me through xanga: w4lucy or my gmail account (pbplays88)

...I've thought about starting a blogspot blog--how do you like it compared to xanga?

  2. I have used the individual packets but have never had the canister like that, good idea about putting it in the cup holder. I'd love to try them out, I worry about the alcohol based sprays or lotions, plus, too messy!

  3. I would LOVE to use these at my daycare but I'm not sure they would be approved.... I know how important hand washing is, we teach our kids to wash their hands and sing Happy Birthday...that gives them the appropriate time to get their hands clean :) Contact me through xanga...mznannybear Thanks!

  9. I work in food service at a university and we are always emphasizing handwashing - when to wash (often!), how long to wash (sing Happy B'day song x2), and how important it is (vitally). We have foam hand sanitizer at every cashier station because everyone knows how dirty money is. An interesting proactive message has been to avoid the T-Zone on your face (eyes, nose and mouth). Never touch your fingers to this area and you greatly reduce the introduction of germs into your body.

  11. I haven't tried Wet Ones wipes. I get diaper wipes so cheap (with coupons and sales) that I usually just use those in the car until I can get home and wash Aiden's hands.

Oh and good luck with the potty training! I'm not going to attempt again until after Anna is born. But after that I'll be pretty diligent :)
